Iron Springs Brewing, Fairfax CA

All of us stopped here after driving around the countryside for a while on the day we tried to go to the state park. Iron Springs has a nice grouping of outside tables right on the (Northampton-like) main street and that’s where we sat. I hat a flight of four:

From left to right, these were:

Kent Lake Kölsch – quite nice and very good for this style.

Mo Money Mosaic – a pale ale hopped with Mosaic hops, also good.

The JC Flyer – this was an IPA and I was surprised how much I liked it.

Epiphany Red Ale – my favorite of the four, I think.

Our waitress recommended the fried chicken sandwich, and it was every bit as good as she promised it would be. All in all, this was a pleasant place to spend an hour or so.
