Two Weeks Notice Brewing, West Springfield MA
3 June 2023

This was my first visit to Two Weeks Notice and it certainly won’t be my last! The building is quite unassuming from the outside, but what a selection of beers awaits inside.

I’ll describe the flight back-left, front-left, back-right, front-right:
Duph (5%) – This Kölsch is one of the best I’ve had, just interesting enough without flavors that would get tiring before a pint was done. I took home a 4-pack of this one to further enjoy.
Resignation (6.8%) – This one’s an American IPA and in spite of how very good it was, it was actually my least favorite of the flight. Rather than reflecting badly on this brew, it just shows how very good all the others were.
Full Nelson (6%) – This NEIPA ticks all the right boxes in my book! It’s so well balanced and like the Duph, doesn’t push things so far in any direction that one would easily get tired of it. It’s just spectacular and I also took home a 4-pack of this one.
Pub Ale Mate! (6%) – They call this one an English IPA and I haven’t seen many of those. It’s a bit maltier but still with some interesting hop flavors, also well balanced.
Fortunately, for me, their kitchen opened just two weeks ago:

The menu is small, but if my Turkey Club sandwich was any indication, everything they do is top notch. In fact, this is probably the single best turkey club I’ve ever had anywhere, and I love the fact that it wasn’t so much food that I had to choose between uncomfortable bloating or taking half of it home. The bread was toasted to perfection and all the ingredients were fresh and tasty … just perfect.

I ran out of flight before I ran out of sandwich (oh darn) so this is a pint of their oddly-named HR Nightmare, a dark Czech lager at 5%. This, too, was a very nice brew with good flavors.
Two Weeks Notice has 18 beers and one hard seltzer on tap so there’s a great variety. Half of the taps today were some variety of IPA; the rest included a wide variety of styles from light to dark.
I’ll definitely be returning here, especially as they’re under 15 minutes from my house!
