Reuben’s Brews, Seattle WA
31. July 2026
Because I didn’t get a photo of Reuben’s itself, here’s a street shot from a couple of blocks away:

Reuben’s has a lot of small tables both indoors and out along with spots where you can sit and look right at everyone walking by on the sidewalk not a foot away from you! They also have an “order at the bar” system but this works pretty well for them — you get a buzzer if you order food and there’s a separate window where you pick it up and get any condiments you might want.

I ordered what I think they called their Favorites Flight, described left to right:

Pilsner – Czech Pilsner, 5.4% – Tasty, tasty, tasty …. and refreshing, too!
Crushable – Hazy Pale Ale, 5.2% – I thought this would be my favorite of the flight just from the look and the description, but surprisingly, it wasn’t! It was easy drinking but without enough flavor to leave me wanting more.
Hazealicious – Hazy IPA, 6.0% – This is what I expected from the Crushable – delightful and absolutely more-ish.
Brighten Up – IPA, 6.0% – It was very good, and I wouldn’t mind having more, but at this point I’m comparing everything to the Hazealicious …
Crikey! – IPA, 6.8% – I confess, this was really good! It’s Washington State’s “most-awarded IPA” but I still preferred the Hazealicious.
Robust Porter – Porter, 5.9% – If the weather had been cooler (a LOT cooler), this would have been my go-to beer. It’s really good but I was too hot on this particular day to properly enjoy it.

Reuben’s Reuben was the obvious choice for lunch and I was pleased that it was a nice size but not humongous. The corned beef was perfectly tender and everything was in good proportion, making for an excellent sandwich.
This was my last brewpub in Seattle — my next entry will be on my drive to Minneapolis.
